Bump Update: Week 37....and counting..

I believe I've gotten in the habit of saving drafts of my posts but never actually posting them.  This post would make the second time I've done that!  Well, to be honest, I had a good excuse.  The pictures we had taken mysteriously could not be transferred from our camera.....

Turns out, both my computer and our desktop computer have old SD card readers that are not compatible with our camera's SD card.  Since Jonathan's computer was off in California being repaired we had to wait until it came home in order to get any pictures off the silly thing. 

Anyways:  from a little over a week ago....

Almost to week 38!!! My Dr. said that little boy is head down and is ready!  He said I would be lucky if I make it 39 weeks :) 

Yes, I know that probably means he'll wait until I'm way past my due date, but I can hope right?  I've been walking, bouncing, and everything else to get this little dude to come be part of our family. 

Jonathan and I have been madly getting ready for his arrival.  We have his room all set up with the crib, a bassinet for the first month or so when he's super small (I can have my fingers crossed!), dresser, changing table, shelves, chair and footstool, lamp, etc.... babies have so much equipment compared to how small they are! 

 

We did take some more pictures of my ever expanding belly. Luckily, Jonathan keeps remembering!

We are so excited to be parents soon!  It's nice not knowing exactly what day he will come because I can't anticipate it too much.... I tend to get nervous if I know something exciting is coming.  At this point all I can do is keep telling myself that we're ready, our bags are packed, the car seat is installed and we have everything we need to bring him home all warm and safe :)
