We are about one month into Jonathan's last semester at BYU. He graduates from the Electrical Engineering program in April and we are so excited! So far, however, school has been super demanding. Jonathan is already as busy as he could possibly be between working from home, doing research for his senior project (a wireless laser tag system - yeah, its that cool ), and other school work. I'm not as busy as him but I have my share of school work. I'm taking an Advanced Electronic Music class where i'm learning how to use two new programs to write new electronic music. It's a difficult class but it's exciting! I'm also doing a collaborative project on a dance piece that i'm writing the music for. It's very challenging and I feel stretched as a composer but I have never had a more exciting project.
So, school is school. January has been more than just the everyday stuff. On the 20th I turned 20 years old and it was the best birthday ever! Jonathan and I went for lunch at Tucano's (a tradition we keep for both our birthdays every year), saw Mission Impossible 4 with a bunch of our friends, printed out pictures of our wedding to hang up in our apartment, and got some really sweet presents. I also decided that my hair needed a change as well so I went and got my hair done. I'm now blonde!
