Jack: Month 6

Two months went by fast!!! Our dear little baby Jack is not so little anymore, he's almost grown out of his 3 month clothes and is mobile! He also started eating some solids, although we're sticking with just adding cereal to his milk every once in a while until he gets a little bigger. When we do add more, we've decided to make all our own baby food! (wish me luck!!)

Other than that:

He rolls...

and sometimes sits....

and almost crawls ;)

and sucks on his toes!

We've had to set up our pack and play in the living room so we can set him down without losing him. Cause, you know, that's happened a few times....

Jack goes with me almost every morning for a walk or a jog. He loves the fresh air so much, though not so much the bundling it takes to get him outside.

We've also found that Jack really likes buttons, esp the buttons that glow...like the one on our xbox. He even turned it on the other day!

And, so early in his short life so far he gets to move for the first time!!! yay!!!

So around Christmas this year our little Adams Family is relocating to Logan, UT!

Jonathan is going to pursue a Master's Degree in Computer Science at Utah State University this January so we found a new apartment up in Logan and are packing up as much as we can before we actually move.  I realized...living in the apartment for four years...we have a lot of stuff to sort through! We're really looking forward to this new adventure!

Jack: Month 4

Jack is FOUR MONTHS OLD!!

He's getting slightly bigger and a whole lot smarter every single day. Jack started rolling from his back to his tummy, although only if no ones watching ;) he was very tricky at first - we would put him on his blanket on the floor to play and when we turned back...BAM! Jack would be on his tummy. WHAT?? Now he just rolls to his side and stays there, often arching his back so he can look around.

Jack has also decided that while playing with his toes is fun, sucking on them is so much better!

Little goober...he also started sticking his tongue out at us and blowing spit bubbles!

On Friday, Jonathan, Jack, and I went up to the Uinta Mountains for a beautiful day out as a little family. Jack did really well for a two hour drive but when we got there he was a little sleepy :)

We put Jack in a forward facing baby carrier so he could look around more. He LOVES it!

We stopped first at the Provo River Falls...

Look at those big baby blues :)

Yummmmmmmmy bib :) Om Nom Nom!!

We hiked up a bit to get closer tot he falls....and discovered that Jack is NOT a fan of roaring water falls! Every time we would walk closer to the water he would start fussing and shouting, then go completely calm when we walked away.

Then we took a really nice walk around Mirror Lake.

It was sooooooo sunny and beautiful and a little windy :)

Lovely trails and shady trees!

and

a beautiful clear blue lake :)

Jonathan pointing out where we parked.....on the other side of the lake. We walked all the way around it!

It was VERY sunny, here's Jonathan shading Jack's eyes while he sleeps...

and sleeps :)

Lunch! Delicious bagel sammiches :)  We are so happy that Jack loved being outside and enjoying the day with us.
